Ocean View Masonic Lodge was granted a dispensation and instituted on September 4th, 1920 by Most Worshipful William W. Galt, Grand Master of Masons in Virginia.

Our charter was presented March 2nd, 1921 and solemnly constituted by Right Worshipful Frank F. Champion, District Deputy Grand Master of (then) Masonic District 35, assisted by Most Worshipful William W. Galt, Past Grand Master.
